ABOUT
GROWING BRANDS THROUGH HONEST FOOD & FARM PHOTOGRAPHY
I'm a commercial / advertising and editorial photographer specializing in food, farm & agriculture imagery. Or more simply, I capture images of people, what they eat and how it gets from the pasture to the plate.
Clients and collaborators find me to be creative, flexible, efficient and results oriented. I am down-to-earth; passionate and far from perfect. I don’t take myself too seriously and I firmly believe being on set should be fun. I value my crew as much as my clients. It’s these things combined that allow for the creation of authentic, artistic and head-turning imagery.
True story: My mom was always supportive of my career, but it wasn’t until 2010 when I was first published in the New York Times that I think she truly understood photography was my calling. You see … while I now live in the Midwest, I grew up just north of New York City; She was so excited to see my work in her newspaper. She carried a copy in her purse as a prized possession, sharing it with everyone she met (whether interested or not). Her pride and passion continue to inspire me today.
I currently make St. Louis my home, where I live with my husband, Joe, and our cat, Claire. When not out and about with my camera, I spend much of my time working on my cooking skills and trying to make my own garden grow.
I am available for advertising agency, brand, corporate or editorial shoots worldwide.
I’d love to hear about your project, and discuss ways we can put our heads together to make something amazing!
